Flags of Hope -- for a greener future 2022
This community fueled public art project began under the vision and collaboration with Vista 360, Energy Conservation Works and Jackson Hole Public Art and funded by Vista 360. The goal was to start conversations about the environmental benefits of signing up for local green power. Phase II took over mid summer with a total 26 making sessions conducted from April through December 2022.
Phase II was funded by the Wyoming Arts Council, ARPA Community Artist Grant. Both phases utilized cyanotype processes, the first half used fabric to make flags and the second half made Postcards in the Mail, postcard sized prints to be given to someone with a unique message on the back, or sent through the mail, postage provided. Phase II focused primarily on underserved segments of the community and was supported by Jackson Hole Public Art.
